Why Grand Rising Housing exists

Grand Rising Housing was founded with one simple belief — that everyone, regardless of their past or present circumstances, deserves a safe and dignified place to call home. We opened our doors in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and surrounding areas to serve the people most often turned away: those returning from incarceration, veterans navigating civilian life, seniors who need support, individuals managing disabilities or mental health, people committed to sobriety, and those facing financial hardship. Our home is their home.

Our name says it all. Every morning is a grand rising — a new beginning. We exist to make sure our residents have a home from which to rise.

Our residents have curfews, follow strict house guidelines, and are not a source of noise or disruption. We are happy to meet with neighbors before finalizing anything.
